Be original and dont do this! part one: “wooden” web design

We can see kitch in all kinds of design. In web design too.
If someone design something new and original, it can be popular and trendy… also - if thousands of designers make it all the same, it will be tiresome. Wooden web design isnt bad looking. It looks “warm” and comfortable but i am tired of wooden designs for this moment. Do you want to be original? Dont design “wood style” designes for this time…

Oh I haven’t seen these yet! They are cool aren’t they.
Shame if they are now over used as you say. It’s such a shame when a wonderful design style gets so emulated that we all get sick of the sight of it.
It’s like Jason Brookes - everyone copied his characters until even his original illustrations now don’t look as amazing as they once did.
However he has some super cool new style characters that I love. So great to see that he can come up with something fresh and new and still break away from the rest of us wanabees, lol.
