How to design modern logo?

Our old company design (corporate identiti) is definitely dead. We are working on new portfolio. pxforce need rebrand – pxforce need new logo design!

Step first – sketch it!
I always sketch my ideas. It’s best way to good and usable result – design.

When you have clean vision about new logo design, you can turn on PC and draw it.
Be patient. If you can, always use vector formats for logo designing.

This is my finished logo design.

I like the design it’s very nice. Has the ‘force’ text had the font squashed in height?

It seems a bit vertically squashed to me.

All great designs start with brainstorming. Now - look up the term brainstorm in a dictionary, and it means the thoughts that storm the brain - while reflecting on a particular problem/concern within certain context. so by just stating that using pen-paper and brainstorming - just does not cut it.

Probably what might be more helpful here is if you tried to explain what went on in the brainstorming process and why-what made you reach certain conclusions that you did to design the final artifact that you arrived with. It only means that you get to articulate your Brainstorming process in more details and would help in identifying patterns which might help others in similar situations.

Just my 2 cents - cause thats what I do. In fact trying to get all these processes nailed down in writing so that they might be helpful to others too.

Lastly - never forget the reason why we are doing the design in the first place - and also do not forget to have fun along the way.
